NEMA 17 pulley and motor mounts
thingiverse
A shaft mount engineered to replace a NEMA 17 motor, enabling users to add a pulley and belt for driving from a remote motor location. I utilize this setup to gear down my extruder instead of printing an entirely new part. This design utilizes 5mm rod and 625zz bearings but can be easily modified to suit various needs.\r\n\r\nTo further improve the alignment of the extruder shaft, the bearings could be spaced slightly farther apart; however, doing so might move it out of alignment with the drive motor, depending on where you choose to mount it.\r\n\r\nPlease note that this motor mount is currently designed for use with 2020 material and M5 bolts.
