NEMA-17 Peristaltic Pump V2

NEMA-17 Peristaltic Pump V2

A fresh take on the minimalist peristaltic pump, now perfected for the NEMA-17 stepper motor. For more powerful motors, switch to the U enclosure and keep backflow at bay. With a output rate of 1mL every 9 revolutions, you'll get consistent results every time. We've made it even better by switching to spring arms in place of the traditional center hub, so printers with imperfections can now use smaller steppers or more fragile bearings without worry of motor binding. To ensure that your bearings stay put, a nut has been added for set screws, keeping stripping from happening accidentally. Here's what you need to get started: Five M3x8 screws, one M3x16 screw, one M3x20 screw, and an M3 nut. Washers are optional but can be helpful in securing the screws (you'll need four). As for parts that will keep things moving smoothly: Four 8mm OD bearings with a 3mm ID. This is just for your NEMA-17 stepper motor (3 kg/cm), so make sure it meets those standards before buying. For tubes, you're going to want two pieces of soft silicone tubing, each 2mm in diameter and 1mm deep inside, or you might have issues.
