This is a 10 series 8020 extruded aluminum mounting bracket specifically designed for Nema 17 motors. In addition to the four holes used for mounting the motor, there are holes provided for six M3 machine screws that serve as structural support against loads perpendicular to the layer lines. These screws also prevent layer splitting caused by the clamping force of the bolts holding the bracket in place on the 8020. It is recommended to use a 100% infill setting when printing this design. The hardware required includes: * Four M3 machine screws measuring 8 mm in length to mount the motor (or 10 mm) * Four 1/4-20 machine screws measuring 0.5 inches in length * Four 1/4-20 tee nuts * Six M3 machine screws and nuts, each measuring 30 mm in length for structural support Note that for structural support screws, six 6-32 machine screws and nuts measuring 1 1/4 inches in length can be used as an alternative. Also note that shorter 20 mm length screws can be used for two of the holes.
