NEMA 17 Motor Bracket for 2020 or 2040
thingiverse
A bracket to hold a NEMA17 stepper motor on a 20mm V-slot or T-slot extrusion like 2020 or 2040 holds the motor in place securely. A test print confirms that it works as intended, with no issues to report. Use M4x10 or M4x12 screws with standard slot nuts for optimal stability. Adding a washer under the screw cap spreads the load evenly and prevents damage. The OpenSCAD source code is included for easy modification of the design. Most parts are calculated from variables, making it simple to adapt for different motors or extrusions. With some effort, you can even make the design parametric. This is my first 3D design ever created, and I welcome your comments and constructive criticism. Printer Settings: Printer: TEVO Tarantula Rafts: None used Supports: Not required Resolution: Print resolution ranges from 0.2mm to 0.3mm. Infill: Infill density is adjustable between 50% and 90%. Notes: Wall thickness is set at a minimum of 1.0mm for added strength.
