NEMA 17 Fan Bracket for K8200 Extruder As summer approaches, ABS printer owners often face a common issue. My own experience with my ABS printer was no exception. After four hours of printing, the extruder would fail due to excessive heat. The stepper motor would become so hot that it could no longer push the 3mm ABS filament through the hotend. In my case, temperatures within the housing reached a scorching 45 degrees! To solve this problem with my old K8200 printer's extruder, I decided to implement an active cooling system. However, I soon realized that the airflow was directed in such a way that it wasn't effectively cooling the printed part. This bracket is designed specifically for the K8200 extruder but can be adapted to fit other NEMA 17 motors as well. It accommodates a 45mm x 45mm fan.
