Nema 17 Cooling Fan Duct
thingiverse
I redesigned the fan to push air more efficiently around the stepper motor, rather than back at it. This was done by offsetting the fan at a greater distance from the stepper with a directional duct. The result is that the printer now moves more air around the motor instead of pushing it backward, making it work much more efficiently. I can tell because I no longer feel any air flowing backward like I did before.
