Nema 17 bowden extruder 2020 Mount with resonance dampening
thingiverse
If you've ever attached a Bowden extruder directly to a 2020 aluminum profile, you probably know what resonance is. To avoid the annoying noise caused by resonance, I designed this mount that lets you decouple your NEMA-17 stepper motor from the aluminum frame it's mounted to. After printing the parts, simply glue some rubber bands around the nubs of the clamp. There's about 2mm of space for rubber. Make sure it still fits in the mount before gluing the rubber to the clamp. You'll need a 3mm screw and nut for the clamp, plus two 5mm screws and T-nuts to attach the mount to a 2020 aluminum profile. Edit: I added a slightly stronger clamp since the original one broke. Note that this stronger clamp requires a longer M3 screw.
