Since I am currently experimenting with a wind turbine using a Nema 17 stepper motor as the generator, I needed different gear ratios. You can cut the belt to the required length yourself - and I'm impressed at how much load you can send through this small belt. There's a simple reason why an M8 hole is used on the opposite side. It allows you to use inexpensive inline skate ball bearings. * https://www.ebay.com/itm/Polyurethane-Conveyor-Belts-PU-Round-Drive-Belt-Meltable-Cord-Dia-2mm-to-12mm/173530366142?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=472218264938&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649 * https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=inline+skates+bearings&LH_PrefLoc=2&_sop=15 I think the pulleys also work with a 4mm belt - but that's still untested. Addendum: The Thingiverse isn't working right now. The Nema17 pulleys have the phase of the shaft to lock them in place. Have fun, like, and share your projects...
