Important: Proper cooling is vital during printing! To securely attach the "fan mount," zoom out by 0.5% prior to slicing. Version 1.0 has been discontinued due to numerous bugs. Version 2.0 (Complete Rework of Ver 1.0) introduced adjustments, including 1.5mm wall thickness. The engine width is 42.3mm (potentially causing backlash). Complaints from those who didn't read the description are not taken into account. Version 2.1 features thinner walls at 1mm, fixed fan holes, and a height of 30mm with an adjusted engine width of 42.0mm. Version 3.0 is improved for faster printing and easier assembly: walls are 0.9mm thick, the height is reduced to 20mm, and the engine width remains 42.0mm. Bug fixes have been implemented. In Version 4.0, a bug from previous versions has been rectified. You can fix other models using the source file in SolidWorks or follow instructions in "Makes" photos to mount a fan with a thread directly onto the motor. The distance between the mount and the motor must be over 4mm in older versions and at least 2mm in newer ones. Note: this is for a 40mm fan mount to cool NEMA 17 step driver.
