To avoid skipping steps, overclock your small Nema motor for increased payload or speed. A 37mm long motor works seamlessly with it and should be paired with a 50mm fan. Included are two washers and one M3 screw; an optional addition is using it with a scaled-up version of this design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:70981 (1.25 ratio for the 50mm fan).
