I'm building a robotic cat with a ball-joint mechanism. The ball catch components are made from flexible filament, which allows them to absorb shocks and stresses without breaking. To add extra durability, I'm using PolyFlex infill at a density of 10-15%. This should ensure that the ball joint remains stable and continues to function smoothly for an extended period.
