Neje DK-8-KZ Fan support
thingiverse
Recently I purchased a Neje DK-8-KZ laser engraver and I'm thrilled with its performance, but I noticed that it produces fumes when engraving on cardboard, paper, or similar materials. Since my laptop cooling base was broken, I thought of repurposing both fans to extract the fumes and have some fun in the process. Four parts are required to secure one (or multiple) fans to the top of the engraver. The part's mouth locks onto the X-axis beams, while four more parts keep the fans centered above the laser. The STL files here accommodate two 120mm fans, separated by M6 nuts instead of washers since I had them available. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Hephestos XL Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.06 Infill: 100% Notes: With a 100% infill, the part requires around 5 grams of material, making it very sturdy.
