Nefertiti Two-Part Mold for Casting Low-Temp Metals

thingiverse

This is a two-part mold of the Nefertiti scan from the Nefertiti Hack files located here: http://nefertitihack.alloversky.com Using the OpenScad files written by JasonWebb found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31581/ This has not been printed or tested yet, my plans are to use Woodsmetal, a unique alloy of Tin, Bismuth and Lead with a melting point below boiling water, so it should hold up well. You can also cast using other materials, if you print and try it, please post pictures! Be sure to "Like" my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FetalReproductions to stay updated on my current prints/blogs, and visit my Etsy page at http://Etsy.com/FetalReproductions for baby prints to own. How I Designed This Made Using OpenScad Thingiverse #31581 This was made from the original instructions found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:31581/ by JasonWebb. However, his instructions were unclear and/or incomplete for non-programmers, it took most of the night to get it working :(. I will be posting step-by-step instructions at some point, but you can try it yourself there.
