Egyptian queen Neferneferuaten Nefertiti reigned during a prosperous era under her husband, Akhenaten, an Egyptian Pharaoh who championed monotheism through Aten worship. Some scholars propose she briefly ruled after her spouse's death and before Tutankhamun ascended the throne. If so, her reign marked Amarna's fall and the relocation of Egypt's capital to Thebes. Nefertiti held numerous titles, including Great Royal Wife. Her iconic bust, attributed to sculptor Thutmose, is among ancient Egypt's most copied works in Berlin's Neues Museum.
