<p>This is a remix of my other Needle Safety Device based on feedback from other dentists. This device allows you to give injections with less worry of stabbing yourself when going to sheath your needle. I didn't like chasing around the paper cards and the stainless steel needle holders that keep the syringe vertical made me nervous of sending the needle flying across the room if I accidentally hit it. &nbsp;This combines the two concepts. The insert is designed to self upright so when you want to sheath the needle it will be straight up, no chasing it around. When you are done, it rotates down keeping it in a safe position. &nbsp;</p><p>Fits Blue and Yellow needles (only types tested). &nbsp;The very end of the inside grabs the needle as it tapers down. &nbsp;At first, it can be difficult to remove the sheath but after a few uses this gets better.</p><p>This is a print in place version with no supports needed (tested with SLA and FDM). &nbsp;Print upside down (the hole where the sheath goes should be on the build plate). &nbsp;There is a solid version and a hollow version. &nbsp;The hollow version will allow you to add dental stone to make it heavier. &nbsp; Hope this helps my dental friends out there:)</p><p>Disclaimer: &nbsp;This device is intended only for the use of board certified Dentists and RDHs.
