I help my grandmother pick up her sewing needles from the floor, so I create this compact needle picker-upper. It's a 3ft x 1/4" dia oak dowel with an ergonomic handle printed on one end and a neodymium magnet case around a 3/4"dia x 1/8" thick x 5mm dia hole on the other end. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.4mm nozzle x 0.2mm layer height Infill: 20% Notes: Print each part with the largest diameter end on the bed, supports shouldn't be needed for well-tuned PLA. Post-Printing Glue the ring magnet into the bottom cup, then glue the top cup to it. Glue the end pieces into the dowel. How I Created This I design this using Onshape.
