Needle for rope/cordage

This is an ideal needle for crafting rope or knots. You can purchase similar needles specifically designed for paracord at a reasonable cost. However, I have been unable to find any such needles that are suitable for cordage with diameters exceeding 4 mm. To create a wide range of metal needles, I rely on my lathe. Not everyone has access to a lathe, but making one out of metal is entirely feasible without this tool, even though it requires more effort. This needle will handle cords or ropes with diameters between 4 and 8 mm effectively. It features a threaded hole (M6) for securely attaching the rope. One version of the design includes a 5 mm hole that can be threaded after printing using a thread cutting tap. The other model incorporates the threading directly into the print. Choose the option best suited to your needs. This needle performs well and is quite sturdy, making it an excellent choice for various applications.
