In 1986 the "Nederlandse Spoorwegen" (Dutch State Railways) started the refurbishment/reconstruction of "ballastwagons". Details: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fccpps and http://spoorhistorie.com/goederenwagens-fccpps.html At first this rolling stock was only used in the Netherlands by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. After privitasation in 1998 the ownership changed to "RailPro", later renamed to "Voestalpine Railpro". This company uses them for delivering ballast to several rail-construction-projects thoughout Europe. (https://youtu.be/6CBdZdcGpmI) The 1980 prototype, initially known as type Eds-m - 954 8 000, later renamed to Fccpps - 643 7 000, is build with large openings in the supports for the hopper. STL's for the hopper/body of both the prototype and the production version are uploaded. This is my interpretation in gauge-1/1:32/45 mm of this typical Dutch wagon. Just like in my other projects, 30 mm Marklin or LGB wheel-sets fitted with ball bearings are fitted. 4 mm holes for mounting buffers are provided. Standard Marklin gauge 1 couplers can be fitted. Handrails and grab-rails are made from bend and soldered metal wire fitted in holes in the frame. The body/hopper is screwed to the frame using 4 countersunk M3 bolts. The handles and rods for operating the hopper are made of 1.75 mm filament, that's glued in the provided holes.. Drawing status: FINALIZED after implementing some minor tweeks.
