I designed a small, versatile gateway for tabletop gaming enthusiasts. The insert component should be printed using a translucent filament, preferably green or lime-green in color. This design allows for flexibility - users can opt for one portal, two portals, or even three, depending on their preference. Alternatively, they can cut acrylic sheets to fit the design and use them as an insert, or choose to leave it empty, effectively rendering it offline. After successfully printing the gateway using transparent PETG filament, I found that a 0% infill setting is optimal for achieving a smooth, even finish. However, users should take note of the sloping sides - they must carefully place the portal on one of these angled surfaces to ensure proper alignment and stability.
