The Shroud is a rare and formidable foe encountered by the Imperial Navy only on a few documented occasions. Its unique threat does not stem from its overwhelming destructive capability, characteristic of all necron vessels, but rather from its exceptional ability to identify minute vulnerabilities in even the most secure defenses. These weaknesses are then expertly exploited by its companions, rendering it an exceptionally worrisome adversary. The Shroud marks the end of the necron fleet's development. In my opinion, this design is less impressive than others due to my inability to envision a suitable angle for the side wing-disks that would do justice to the model. The Shroud could be utilized in Battlefleet Gothic or as part of an orbital support force in Epic: Armageddon. Unfortunately, saving the .stl file with the side wing-disks positioned at their distinctive angle results in unintended and visually disturbing mesh distortions, precluding the creation of a fully assembled 3D model.
