Necron Canoptek Wraith Proxy
thingiverse
Heavily inspired by this, but redesigned to not require supports for its segments and some minor modifications to the head: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2557260 Also used this one's legs: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2556993 The rest was designed in Onshape. You have to scale a few things to reach the desired ratio. I printed five of them but still need to correct a few things to make it final. Main things that should be improved: 1. Done: Bigger pin to attach the smallest segment to the vertebra. Right now you need to fill the hole in the vertebra with green stuff to compensate for the small "ball pin" from the segment; 2. Done: Modify the base to allow for the addition of a counterweight washer. The base is small and the center of gravity high, so it tends to fall over easily; 3. Done: Make joints between segments stronger. They break easily. Either make them bigger or replace them with other material (ex.: small metal rods); 4. Make head smaller. 2019-12-07 Edit: Updated a few items above.
