Necromongers Knife

Here is my version of the Riddick's Necromongers knife, a deadly and iconic sword wielded by the anti-hero Richard B. Riddick. I designed this model with precision and care. I used Inkscape to craft the intricate design of the blade, then exported it as an SVG file for further manipulation. Next, I imported it into Daz Hexagon 3D, where I carefully modeled the sword's shape and form. Finally, I fine-tuned the details in Meshmixer, ensuring a stunningly realistic finish. To bring this model to life, I relied on my Da Vinci 1.0 printer, which produced the intricate details with remarkable precision. The print settings were optimized for maximum quality: rafts and supports were used to ensure a sturdy base, while a resolution of 2mm allowed for breathtaking detail. Infill density was set at 40% to strike a balance between strength and weight. As I printed this model in ABS, I found the material's durability and impact resistance to be ideal for a sword as deadly as Riddick's Necromongers knife. However, PLA would also work beautifully, offering a slightly different aesthetic and texture.
