This is a necklace stand I created to hold up to sixteen necklaces. I wanted to make it more visually appealing, so I added the intricate spider web design at the top. I utilized an eleven-point-five-inch long three-eighths inch oak dowel as the support system, but you can print a plastic dowel if you prefer using the included file. The widest portion of the stand is slightly less than two hundred millimeters wide. I also provided a test part so you can verify whether the hole prints accurately on your printer. To achieve a smooth finish, I had to sand the dowel a bit. An updated version of this design is available at: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1054244 Instructions Print the test part first to ensure the hole is the correct size. If adjustments are necessary on your printer, create a new test part by modifying the P38ID variable size in the TestDowelAndHoleSize.scad file and reprint. If you're using a three-eighths inch dowel, you won't need to print the plastic dowel part. Once you've confirmed accurate sizing, proceed as follows: Print NecklaceStandTopWithStraightHooks_rev12_repaired.stl. This component took three hours and fifty minutes on my printer and weighs 2.2 ounces.
