Rendering objects doesn't come naturally to me - typically, I focus more on modeling than bringing it to life through rendering. Consequently, my skills in this area aren't top-notch by any stretch of the imagination. Regarding the model at hand, I'll mention that its mesh is constructed with precision and care, built specifically for game purposes, not shoddy compromises made just to get a rough shape out there.
