This necklace design features a 100mm diameter motif crafted from 3mm MDF using a laser cutter. Initially, it was an experiment to create flexible structures that bend around multiple axes; however, it eventually became a unique gift for my spouse. The project was completed during the 'Open Design for Lasercutting' workshop led by Stuart Childs at Aalto Fablab as part of the captivating Open Knowledge Festival.
