Neck Strap mold
thingiverse
Wearing a mouth-nose guard can become extremely frustrating over time. Particularly when the mask is secured behind the ears, as is common in many models. Countless printable files are available online to address these issues. Most of these files consist of simple, thin strips with small loops that allow the mask to be attached around the neck. The concept itself is truly ingenious. However, it's not uncommon for the plastic strip on the back of the neck to irritate after extended wear. That's why I developed a mold to cast flexible silicone "neck straps." To ensure maximum stability, I used TFC silicone rubber type 3 from Troll Factory. Any molding compound can be used, but I've achieved the best results with this specific material.
