Neck fix for pool filter grids

thingiverse

To fix a broken neck on a Hayward ProGrid 60 sqft pool filter grid, I have shared images demonstrating the process. The first picture shows a grid with a broken neck, while the second displays a prepared grid with the remaining side of the broken neck cut off. Lastly, the third image illustrates a fixed grid with an insertion sleeve. The sleeve has an O.D. of 1 inch to fit the I.D. of the grid's neck. There are two versions available: one with a 1-inch long neck and another with a 7/8-inch long neck. Choose the version that best fits your grid, considering how much of the broken neck you removed. The files provided include a 102% scaled option to compensate for shrinkage or tightening the fit. If necessary, rotate the file by 180 degrees, and filing may be required due to slight offset inaccuracies, which have been fixed in version 2.
