FINALLY a new accessory for the most exceptional computer ever created! These clip onto the outside and push inwards with ease. For obvious reasons, I had to add a screw on the outside so the clips don't come loose. As it turned out, it wasn't necessary, as the angle of the machine keeps everything firmly in place. However, since the machine was positioned high up, I didn't want to take any chances of the computer falling off the wall. I also use it for typing and performing quick calculations in BASIC, etc. A perfect solution is just what I needed! The computer can be easily lifted out at any time, thanks to its clever design. There's a small recess on the mount that prevents damage to the on/off switch and contrast potentiometer. You'll want to print two brackets, reversing one of them for a seamless fit. This is a trivial task that requires minimal effort. In addition to the brackets, you'll need two shelf mounts as well. As I recall, these can be printed in 3-4 hours on a Lulzbot 6. I added holes to the bracket to allow for screwdrivers and other tools to be used during assembly. This also reduces print time slightly. When lifting the PC8201 out of the bracket, be careful not to damage the on/off switch or contrast potentiometer on the side. It's best to have a helping hand, preferably from someone you know well, like your girlfriend! With four hands working together, it becomes much easier. PS When I find my trusty Trs-80 Model 100, I'll build a new set of brackets for it too. The Model 100 will require a bottom bracket to keep it stable and prevent it from slipping out. If you'd like to send me a Model 102, I'll be happy to create a set of brackets for it as well! The PC8201/8300 required less support due to its angled case. Enjoy! (Updated Tool Hanger on 4/27. After printing, I found that the tolerances were a bit too tight.)
