NEC MultiSync (JC1401) Monitor Stand
thingiverse
This is a replacement monitor stand for the NEC MultiSync monitor, JC1401. These monitors are often found without the stand. # Build Notes These parts nearly fill the bed of my Ender 3. These are large prints and will take quite a few hours. 0.28mm layer thickness is fine. The support density can be decreased to 10% to shrink print time. Use side cutters to remove the support material afterwards. Wear safety glasses while doing this! You will need to clean up the parts with a file and sandpaper. # Assembly Notes The two halves of the top of the stand (with the dovetail joints) should be glued together with epoxy and secured with bolts. You can drill the holes larger if need be. The bottom half should be bonded to a square sheet of plastic. Approximate dimensions are 230mm x 230mm x 6mm. The holes in the part can be tapped for 4-40 or M3 screws (quantity 6) which will hold the plastic sheet to the base. The top halves, after gluing, fasten to the monitor using M5 socket cap bolts, approximately 1.5cm long. Be sure the bolts don't penetrate too far into the monitor. Use washers to prevent the heads from sinking into the top half, which would damage it.
