This project has been incredibly enjoyable to work on, as I've submitted a few other designs for this competition but this one takes the cake. The desk design caters to modern office spaces by promoting collaboration with colleagues while maximizing floor space through its innovative shape. It can be arranged in various configurations like a line, circle or a combination of both. The workstation is spacious enough to accommodate up to three displays, optimized for two, and has ample room on either side for paperwork and sketching. For added convenience, it features two hidden drawer compartments on each side for storing files, pens, and other office essentials. Ergonomics were a key consideration in the design, ensuring everything is easily reachable from the central seating position while making it simple to share files with colleagues. Manufacturing this desk is both feasible and cost-effective. The table top and drawers are made using lacquered MDF, while the legs are crafted from 3/4" steel tubing and chrome plated for a sleek look. Stamped steel brackets hold the drawers in place, and all components are fixed together with simple socket-headed cap screws. I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on this design, and I hope you find it as appealing as I do! Reminder: Don't forget to include the resources needed, such as an office chair, Dell keyboard, Logitech mouse, and a link to the GrabCAD design for reference.
