Replaces the rotating end cap of Neato Spiral Combo Brush on the Neato D10, D9, D8, D7, D6, D4 Intelligent Robot Vacuums. The existing end cap is made of two pieces of plastic that rotate against each other and are not sealed very well. The result is that small amounts of dirt get into the space and score the surface of the plastic eventually causing the mechanism to seize up and preventing the roller from rotating. You can make some heroic attempts to correct the situation but they will only function for a few days before the end cap will seize again. The rest of the roller is indestructible so this seems like a case of planned obsolescence. After purchasing several new rollers at $35 a piece I decided to redesign the end cap. You'll need to purchase a 8 mm x 16 mm x 5 mm roller bearing like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081998JFW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details Print two copies of the STL and super glue them together. Now place the bearing on one end as shown in the picture. Remove the existing end cap - by pulling hard - and insert this one instead. Put the roller back in place and vacuum with confidence!
