Neato dust bin latch

## Neato Bin Latch Solution My Neato D5 bin kept coming loose, which caused the bot to stop cleaning. To solve this issue, I created a 3D printed latch that forces the lid shut. The robot's body is made of ABS, and cyanoacrylate works incredibly well with it. I applied only a thin line of superglue on each side of the latch, and it's now rock solid. ## Options Two versions of the latch are included: basic and "with groove". The latter has a small notch to hold the parts together, which is better but can be tricky to print. If that's the case, you can always use the basic version instead. ## Instructions Practice holding the latch together and moving it around before gluing it in place. Use a material that works well with superglue, such as ASA, to ensure a strong bond. You'll also need a small compression spring with a diameter of about 5mm. Gluing the parts together can be tricky. Hold them together and turn the latch upside down. Apply a thin line of glue to the outermost edges, taking into account how much it will spread when pressed down. Be careful not to let the glue reach the moving latch, or you'll need to start over. To turn the latch back over, you may want to pinch the latch control to hold it together. The part doesn't need to be right up against the edge of the bin (see photos). Best of luck with your project! Update: I've added "option 2" for the latch, which allows you to print the grip and sliding parts separately for extra strength.
