This CAD creation combines MacAttak's E3D mount and Lonuf's bearing holder, providing a quick fix for enhanced printer functionality. The mount simply snaps onto bearings and accommodates E3D insertion, requiring no extra fasteners but suggesting zip-ties around the bearings (Lonuf's holder has designated holes). This modification increased my build height by 5 cm, enabling lower Z screw placement for improved banding. A filament drive is essential; I use GUS Simpson's, and while fan screws are overlooked in design, this mount remains largely screwless. However, issues with Bowden prints may arise due to my filament drive or Slic3r settings. E3Dv6 compatibility remains uncertain. To replicate, import both STLs into Rhinoceros, adjust for overlap, and print.
