Finding 12V smart switches proved incredibly challenging. Eventually, I discovered a WIFI version that can be configured to work seamlessly with Home Assistant. To enclose it and enable normal switching functionality while allowing control via the smart controller, I built a housing. Although this device is primarily cloud-based controlled, it can be set up for local network-only operation if your router has parental controls blocking web access to specific devices. This requires some effort, but the payoff lies in having a 12V powered smart switch in the long run. The designed switch is https://amzn.to/2R79bRc, controlled by the EweLink phone app through the ST-DC1. A 12V and ground supply are necessary for operation. For setup, you'll need a router with WIFI installed in your RV and internet access during initial configuration; however, this isn't required post-setup. The V2 Base can accommodate both the mentioned switch and another one available at https://amzn.to/30CHrqz. The V3 Cover features integrated buttons as part of its design, requiring use with the switch listed on line 5.
