Replacing a zip tied water pump isn't enough, so I decided to upgrade it entirely. Designed a mounting bracket for an external EK-ACR SPC-60 PWM water pump with a 50mm x 50mm bolt pattern. The bracket attaches securely to my case using the existing 80mm fan mounting points. The pump's bolt pattern is centered on the bracket, but this placement creates an issue - the power plug touches the pump reservoir lid. I've got another design that solves this problem by offsetting it 10mm from the edge of the bracket.
