These were designed as the D&D campaign's Big Bad Evil Guy's elite forces. Fantastic Nazism in our setting is pro-human to the point where they seek to drive out the "non-human beasts" from the Reichlands, a human kingdom modeled after Barbarossa's German kingdoms. It's a great way to start the conversation, especially when we have an analogue of the Treaty of Versailles that the goblin-financed Dwarven and Elven armies forced the human king to sign to end the Human Expansion attempts. The Human King sidestepped the rule of no Royal Army by merging church and state, then training a Royal militia, and having the church provide Wizards, mounted Clerics, and Paladins for a Heiliger Blitzkrieg.
