Nazgul Evoque F6D bumper and turtle block holder
thingiverse
My Evoque F6D front carbon fiber takes the brunt of crashes and I was having issues turtling in grass because the quad is so low to the ground. I fixed both issues by designing this front bumper and rear turtle block which allows a chunk of foam to be strapped in using black hair bands. If you just want the front bumper you don't need the rear block however it does help distribute the load when landing hard and gives some protection to the bottom carbon fiber. I used regular cheap hair ties and loop them through to hold the foam. The foam is from a video card packaging and I cut it with an angle sloped toward the front which helps it stabilize but it does tend to make the nose dig in and tip over when landing with forward motion. Possible improvement would be to add ABS (dual extruder) or metal inserts for the screw holes but it's the same mounting as the stock motor guard caps. I have many hours of flying and many many crashes and so far no issues. The front bumper extends as far up as possible without entering the field of view of the O3 camera.
