Important: After many flights crash testing lol I realized that zip tying the pigtail together is bad. It adds stress on the mmcx connection which actually causes it to pop out. Just leave the pigtail unbound. It is incredibly strong that way. Any small amount of flex will be taken up by the slack. Haven't had any issues since and the antenna is far better protected with this design. Note: For this design, you need to have already flipped the ESC around so the power cable comes out of the top plate. This is the strongest design I highly recommend doing this mod. You also need thinner battery straps. My stock straps broke and I found these "Ethix Power Straps" to be far better. What you will need: MMCX to SMA pigtail with "T mount" roughly 5cm TBS m8.2 The design! This design houses the VTX antenna connection within the frame. This protects the pigtail-antenna connection during a crash. This mount also houses a TBS m8.2 GPS. The GPS is angled at 30 degrees to maintain effective GPS lock during flight. The GPS is kept as close to the frame as possible to maximize protection. You are also able to fit a Vifly Finder 2 in the space at the back as I have done, making this mount the smallest of its kind. My Crossfire RX is mounted between the 2 standoffs closest to the stack. Assembly: Put the wiring harness on the GPS first and then feed the loose ends through the hole and seat the GPS into place. Then attach the pigtail with screws. The screw heads need to be on the same side as the T bracket. Not ideal but seems to work best. Then wire everything up and you're set!
