If you run Cleanflight on the Naze32 board or any of its copies, you can easily attach a cheap miniature oled display. These displays are available for purchase from eBay and offer convenient flight controller information before takeoff. The oled displays may be quite fragile, making them unsuitable for mini quads. Although connecting the display to the flight controller is straightforward, mounting it to the frame can be a challenge. One possible approach involves using double-sided tape; however, this often results in snapping off the lower display glass corners and instantly destroying the OLED - a situation I've encountered twice. To resolve this issue, designers have created protective frames that fit around the display, enabling mounting on flat surfaces with ease. Note that you will need to remove the connection pins and replace them with cables soldered to the back of the PCB. This is an uncomplicated process. It is essential to meticulously clean the surfaces surrounding the glass area before attempting to mount the display. Any protrusions or a fractionally small opening can cause the display to crack when mounted, rendering it useless immediately. With patience and attention to detail, you should be able to successfully install the display. For those seeking an alternative solution, designers have created holders that allow direct mounting of the display atop the flight controller using the standard 30.5 mm hole pattern of the CC3D/Naze32 boards.
