Navilight or Gopro helmet mount
thingiverse
Light mount for the top of the helmet can be used as a position light for paddling. The mount can also be used with Gopro. I glued the mount to the helmet using velcro. To shape the mount around the helmet's surface, heat it up and press it firmly onto the helmet. A holder was needed for an LED circular lamp that serves as a positional light while paddling. For this purpose, a helmet holder was created using Fusion 360. The fixture has the same dimensions as common action cameras. To make it easy to remove the holder quickly, it is attached with velcro. To protect against accidental loss, the holder has a loop for a lanyard at its rear end. To simplify the design process, the holder was adjusted to fit the helmet's curvature after printing using a heat gun. The part was printed with 0.2mm layer height and 0.4 nozzle PLA on an MK2 Prusa printer.
