An adapter for fastening Navigation Systems, made by "Garmin", on the ventilation grilles of cars.The standard diameter of the ball, for adaptiion this kind of Navigation Systems, is 17 mm.My version has a possibility for a height-adjustable placement of the spherical head.My model is available in following data formats:STEP-file (.stp) of the complete assembly and all native files (.prt) and (.asm), in a (.zip)-folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«If you want to use the model for 3D-Printing, open the STEP-file (.stp), to make your own (.stl)-files, of each component of the assembly or use the concept only for creating a model, according to your own wishes.If you don't want to use the model with the height adjustment, merge the base plate and the component with the adapter ball - together in a position you prefer - to make one part of both of them.A STEP-file (.stp) and the native part (halteplatte_1_1.prt.1) is provided too, in a predefined and fixed position of the adapter ball.Notes:Draft angles - for the production method "Injection Moulding" - are not modeled.All threads are really modeled with theoretical values, that means without any clearance.Recommended plastic material: glass fibre reinforced plastic.Names of the models in German language only.Please be so fair and leave a "Like" before you download this interesting model.
