Remixed from the basic shape, I added legs holes and designed some sturdy legs to provide a solid base. Power and audio connector holes were also added for seamless connectivity. A Raspberry Pi inside with a DAC hat, running Raspotify transformed them into a Spotify Connect device that can be controlled directly from Spotify on my phone or via Alexa voice commands. The cones are 40Watt Full-range woofers at an affordable price of £20 each. Two halves were printed without supports in standard black PLA with some plastic putty filler to seal the cracks. A coat of white primer was applied, followed by a granite effect spray paint that exceeded my expectations. The legs and trim are made from Woodfil PLA, which is fantastic, and finished with a bit of Wood Stain on top for added elegance. Metal spikes were used to give it a sturdy finish, available at £5 each. The final result turned out better than I expected, both in looks and sound quality.
