Nautilus, Nadia et le secret de l'eau bleu - Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water - Fushigi no umi no Nadia
thingiverse
The second creation of mine after Koro Sensei is a submarine that has been on my mind for a long time. The submarine Nautilus from Captain Nemo's series Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water is a vehicle that has been dear to me since childhood. My first series with studio Gainax, at the beginning of the 90s, was responsible for creating the iconic Evangelion. I'm starting to get more familiar with Blender, and Nautilus benefited from more curves compared to Koro, but I still struggle with modifiers, especially solidification. There are therefore points to be improved for a two-part print. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Dagoma 100 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: fin Notes: This is a two-part print (3 with the base). I chose silver color, but it can also be printed in blue (underwater). The provided STLs are not necessarily the best, some faces will not appear because I messed up solidification. You should recommend retaking the Blender files and improving them. Print also with supports enabled (Cura). Post-Printing After printing, certain faces were missing, including the fins, so I had to print and cut out this one by hand using scissors then glue it onto Nautilus. The colors are those of the series in acrylic paint. How I Designed This
