Nautilus Gear - One Sided with Threads
thingiverse
I adored tinkering with the one-sided nautilus gears and aimed to introduce some tweaks. I substituted caps with threads and nuts, and created several variations featuring an enhanced base that's simpler to grasp. The nuts can be securely fastened using glue or by coupling them to prevent accidental unscrewing. A huge thanks goes out to MishaT for providing the original gear model, alex80it for creating the one-sided version, j1vvy for suggesting adding threads, and mike_linus for contributing his exceptional bolt library. Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2 mm You'll need to print: Two or four "Nautilus_Nut_Thin.stl" files (you can combine two nuts on each post to prevent loosening) Two "Nautilus_Gear.stl" One of either "Nautilus_ThreadedBase" (for faster printing) or "Nautilus_ThreadedBase_Fancy.stl" (easier to hold) Keep in mind that "Nautilus_ThreadedBase_Fancy.stl" has cylindrical voids to minimize material, which also offer another grip point.
