Introduction The Nature HDRI brand represents a collection of high-dynamic range images showcasing natural outdoor environments. Typically, these images feature natural and visually appealing qualities. The lighting conditions are captured using only natural exterior light sources, with no artificial elements, resulting in a comprehensive representation of natural lighting effects. Description This product is the fourth installment in the series of nature-themed HDR-images. It offers a 360/180-degree HDRI that is ideal for creating physically accurate lighting effects in your computer-generated work or panoramic purposes. The images are perfect for backplates, 360-degree backplates, or compositions using Red Giant Horizon software. I primarily use these HDRIs for my computer-generated work, focusing on lightning and reflections. However, they can be used for various other applications, such as planting computer-generated objects in real-world environments. Tip: When working with V-Ray in 3DS Max, you can isolate the sky portion of the image by deselecting the "Full-dome" option in V-Ray Light Dome settings. Camera Shot using a Canon EOS 600D camera equipped with Magic Lantern HDR-bracketing feature. Lens Sigma EX DC HSM f3.5-4 10-20mm lens was used to capture these images. HDR-rig The setup consisted of a normal tripod and a DIY zero-parallax rig. Exposure A 2-EV 3-step exposure was used to capture the image. Format The package includes an OpenEXR 32-bit file and JPEG files. Other HDR formats are available upon request, with OpenEXR chosen for its widespread popularity. Usage HDR-images can be utilized in a variety of 3D applications to produce physically accurate lighting effects. They are commonly used to recreate the lighting conditions present in the scene from the panorama shot. The most common usage is in architectural renders, but they can also be applied to your fantastic 3D-scenes to bring them to life.
