These parts are NATO specified head space and firing pin indent gauges.The specifications for the 5.56MM gauges used imperial measurements and so I have used all correct measurements and included all geometric details. There are nine headspace gauges each 0.001" longer than the previous; ranging from 1.4960" to 1.5040".PART NO.12-(5.56)-7-5 (1.5000)(8654215) Gage, Headspace, 5.56MM (imperial pattern) represents the maximum specifications for the 5.56MM NATO and the deviation of 0.0002" switches from a positive value for all sizes smaller, and becomes negative for all sizes larger; for this reason I believe that the gauges longer than the aforementioned start representing no-go gauges.NOTE: I have seen a lot (all) online gauges stating that they are 1.4696" for their datum length, they are NOT! 5.56MM NATO spec gauges. They are .223 Remington gauges.
