NATO Finder Scope Rail for Celestron Telescopes

NATO Finder Scope Rail for Celestron Telescopes

When starting out in astronomy, I faced challenges using a finderscope due to its limited field of view. To overcome this, I looked for alternative options such as the Telrad that don't require magnification. However, I already had a multi-reticle holographic sight and decided to create a NATO adapter for my scopes instead. These brackets are not quick-release, but I rarely transport my scopes and prefer their low-profile design and solid connection. I also designed a Dual Nato bracket for attaching a green laser. The sight and laser can be purchased on Amazon or Ebay for less than $20 each. The adapters are made from ABS material, oriented with the rear flat side facing forward. I would love to expand this collection to fit other scopes so please make requests or leave comments for additional models. Currently, I have designs to fit all versions of the C90, C5, C8, C11, and Celestron Onyx 80ED scopes. Using these sights has greatly enhanced my casual grab-and-go observing sessions.
