NATO-3M adapter for gas masks

<p>I made this adapter to let me use 3M respirator filters on my Swedish army forces M90 gas mask, also known as "Forsheda F2". But this adapter will "probably" fit any NATO threaded gas mask and will allow you to use "off the shelf" 3M filters.</p><p>Feel free to post you prints!</p><p>EDIT: Now also including a dummy plug that can be used instead of a filter, similar to the original dust cover but with some holes in it. (Print up-side-down)</p><h3>Post-Printing</h3><p><strong>Finishing touches:</strong></p><p>Round of the lower edge of the NATO threads, if needed.</p><h3>How I Designed This</h3><p><strong>Design aspects:</strong></p><p>This adapter is my original drawing, the design is made to be strong and extra printer friendly with no bridges or steep slopes. It is designed with just the right amount of clearance and should work fine unmodified with most printers.</p><p><strong>CAD files:</strong></p><p>I also posted the Rhino .3dm file which allows you use the adapter threads on any other project, like for example filtering the air from your 3D printer.</p>
