Nativity scene

myminifactory

I crafted this nativity scene using SketchUp, perfect for the holiday season. The model breaks down into two parts that fit snugly together to form a complete nativity scene with a built-in tea light holder at the back. I opted for a battery-powered tea light for added safety and it fits nicely into the 38mm seat I extruded. The slots on the two parts are precision-cut, requiring no glue; a bit of sanding helps them slide together smoothly. I printed this model on my Anycubic i3 mega at a resolution of 0.2mm using Anycubic PLA filament. The print settings included a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius and a heated bed at 60 degrees Celsius, with a speed of 60mm/s. I skipped rafts and supports as the printer's UltraBase leaves a silky-smooth finish. Happy printing, and best wishes for a joyful Christmas!
