I needed a more reliable anchoring system than the standard kayak trolley setup. This design allows me to swiftly and easily position myself directly into the current, which is essential in a rudder-equipped boat - you don't want the rudder facing downstream. Additionally, this platform provides ample space for mounting a rod holder or other accessories. To further enhance stability, I recommend applying 3M mounting tape to the base of the system.
